We sailed our sailboats over 37,000 miles
from California and all throughout the South Pacific
and all through these Hawaiian waters.
We have the blessing of many
adventures, beach walks and hikes.
On our beach walks here on Maui, Oahu, and Kauai,
we find many amazing treasures.
Among the varied pukas and shells we find Mucuna gigantea:
"Lucky Seabeans" - "heartbeans" - or
as they call them here in Hawaii, "sheep eyes".
They have many intriguing designs and make for a beautiful
"Forever Lei"
when strung together with the various shells we find.
Each Lei is also embellished with
semi-precious stones and beads.
Preference of colors can be special ordered, and custom made.
